All office visits are carbon neutral. We offset every patient's carbon footprint as a complementary service provided for the day your visit is on. This includes your carbon emissions for travel to and from our office location from anywhere within Maine. We also offset the clinics entire carbon footprint at the end of each year.
We aim to source all of our clinic supplies and treatment therapies — items such as herbs, supplements, and clinic goods as local as possible. Maine farmers, herbalists, and makers have always been a part of what makes this place home.
Sustainability
Ecologic Medicine reinvests a portion of profits from each patient visit into local environmental or ecological initiatives within the state, such as Maine non-profits. Organizations in recent years were CREA and Avian Haven.
Ecologic is open to partnership with other businesses and organizations to help provide affordable healthcare, environmental stewardship, or meeting space to help build stronger, healthier communities.
